Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Delhi. Well-situated in a nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The furnishings are welcoming and I wanted to take them home with me. The staff is top-notch and really know how to cater to each visitor (it was my first time in India but have traveled a bit so they tailored their suggestions accordingly). My absolute favorite part aside from the linens was the delicious breakfast each morning in the breakfast room. This is now my go to place in Delhi!

Sprawled over 35 acres of luxurious gardens, and in close proximity to the Taj Mahal, ITC Mughal, a luxury hotel in Agra is a fitting tribute to the great Mughal builders of the past. The only Indian hotel to have won the prestigious Aga Khan Award for its excellent representation of Mughal architecture. This luxury hotel in Agra comprises of opulent rooms and suites, recreating a paradise for the contemporary Mogul – full of splendour and perfection which was the hallmark of the Mughal Dynasty.

Our suite was beautiful and Raj, our Butler, was incredibly attentive. Last night during a trip to the bar we were greeted with smiles, welcome drinks and 4 plates of canapés. It was lovely. The rest of the hotel, however, keeps this from receiving 5 stars. There are just a lot of areas that look like they're ready to be replaced: carpets, patched walls, etc.

Stayed there with family and friends for a short vacation trip in April 2013. Had a pleasant experience. The rooms are large and the hospitality is top class. The ambience and decor is in sync with the heritage City of Taj. It's a good place to splurge yourself. There is live folk performance in the hotel premises in the evening which adds up to the mood. The meals and the spread are awesome.

    Samode Haveli Chokdi Gangapol, Jaipur

An urban oasis in the historic walled city of Jaipur, Samode Haveli is a traditional Indian mansion set in a lush garden with apartments arranged around a series of intimate courtyards. Built 175 years ago as a residence of the rulers of Samode, it is still occupied by their descendants, who have converted their home into a luxury hotel.

I spent a night in this hotel in Jaipur and the unit I had consisted of a dining room, living room, bedroom, a walk-in closet that adjoins the bathroom which itself has a shower and a bath tub. It was like renting an entire apartment that had luxurious furnishings that reflect Indian culture. They have a pool, souvenir store, pool side bar, restaurant, gym and spa. It somewhat gives the guest a taste of what it feels like to be royalty in Jaipur.

Old palace with modern conveniences. Excellent service. Excellent staff. Humongous size rooms with all modern facilities. Excellent restaurant. Expensive place but worth the money. Quite a long way to walk to some rooms, NOT disabled -friendly. No lift, no ramps. Close to attractions.

Stok Palace Heritage Hotel / Leh

Built entirely by the Ladakhi craftsmen in 1820, the Stok Palace is a historical property and still is the residence of the Namgyal dynasty, tracing their origin to the 10th century.

Set in the midst of the valley of the Indus River, the Palace was opened to the public in 1980 with blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and it encapsulates the lifestyle and history of royalties.

This pristine natural landscape allows you to relax in a serene atmosphere, surrounded by the countryside and amazing views all around. Also enjoy the fine dining experience prepared by the family’s kitchen, all from the local market with specialities of healthy and natural Ladakhi, Tibetan and Indian food.

    Nubra Ecolodge / Nubra Valley

Nubra Ecolodge is a family run ecotourism venture, located near Sumur sand dunes in the Nubra Valley. The landscape facing the Shyok and Nubra rivers is a stunning natural habitat with 360 degree view of the Karakoram mountains, the sand dunes and the Nubra River.

The 11 acre farm with the family home, has been planted with poplar, willow, apricot and apple trees, along with vegetable gardens. An Ideal location to go for long walks along the Sumur sand dunes and the Nubra River.

Nubra Eco lodge is nicely located lodge, staff very good, tents neat and clean, very specious but away from Nubra Sand Dunes, Close to Sand Dunes. Simple vegetarian food. Served local breads, made in the lodge itself. Would surely recommend to friends. Their own garden was superb. Courteous Staff

The place is in village Sumur and offers excellent views of the snow capped mountains and the vegetation around it. We stayed in a guest room, but they also have tents. They also have a farm where all the vegetables needed for cooking are organically grown . Despite being in a remote location, they use solar panels to power the place and have hot water facility in the washrooms too! Their service is also quite commendable. Thank you for giving us an amazing Nubra experience 🙂

This place is a good 40 kilometres away from Diskit on the Siachen side of the Nubra Valley. But it’s isolation is what makes it even more enjoyable.Stay here if you want to stay away from the chaos of the over crowded city of Diskit. The food they offer at about ₹500 per head is a lot better than it sounds. They serve you like a king and all the vegetables are grown in the adjacent farm. The rooms are extremely well furnished and the washrooms are as modern as they can be.
