I found very nice hotel. Only surrounding area is not that clean, just a 7 minutes’ walk to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. But hotel itself quiet and friendly staffs.

    Fort Resort Nagarkot

Built in the local red-brick style, and with an impeccably trimmed garden terrace looking out over a natural amphitheatre of peaks, the Fort Resort makes for a memorable place to stay. The dignified rooms and suites are set in stylish cottages or in the main building, some with rustic wood-fire furnaces, and there’s a good restaurant serving food made with home-grown ingredients. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. All rooms have en-suite and free WI-FI.

Great location. It's in the other side of lake which is reached only by boat( provided by hotel). Cottage rooms are small but comfortable and executive rooms are large. Service is good and so is food here. Been there couple of times and always enjoyed.

Beautiful location and nice rooms with great facilities, nice view of the lake, gardens and flowers and quiet atmosphere. Although very expensive for what you get, the quality of the food needs a serious improvement as it doesn't give you the luxury you expect in such a great place.

This trip to Nepal must be one of the most amazing travels I’ve ever been on. A nicely planned mix of experiences, not too busy & not too slow where we had time to explore and also relax. The slow pace and rhythm of life didn’t change a lot for hundreds of years in Nepal. I felt this in each stop where the vibe of the different stops offered a different feel to the country. This trip has given me moments that will always be vivid in my mind. Those landscapes & mountain views were spectacular. My favourite moment was at the monastery, listening to the monks chanting and drinking lemon and ginger tea in the garden. It made it harder to come back to reality post-holidays but I immediately started planning my next trip back to Nepal!
